As wonderful as this time of year may be, sometimes the holiday season can be…trying. Whether it’s fighting for parking spaces at the mall, having heated familial arguments over politics, getting sick with the weather change, or listening to your tipsy mother explaining at the Thanksgiving dinner table how your brother was conceived (yep…that gem happened a few years ago), the holiday season isn’t always the easiest to cope with. But don’t worry, we’ve got your back covered. If you’re looking for soothing relaxation or just a temporary escape from it all, come on into Elements Boulder Dispensary and fortify yourself for the holidays!

It’s positively frigid outside in Colorado this time of year. The added chores of snow shoveling and even the normal ones like walking the dogs or going to the grocery store are much more onerous in the winter cold. We have just the ticket! Hop in a hot bath with some of Coda Signature’s Symphony Bath Bombs or their line of Massage and Bath Oils and watch those aches drain away. Personally, I love the bath bombs so much that pretty much the only time I take a bath nowadays is with one of these decadent 15mg THC/15mg CBD bath bombs. They come in a three pack of bombs, each with its own unique blend of scents which they dubbed Uplift, Calm, and Balance. They’re effervescent and aromatic, and bath water gets hot enough to activate the THC so you get a calming, soothing buzz along with whole body pain relief. I love them both for myself and as a treat for friends and loved ones. But don’t just take my word for it: Symphony Bath Bombs are the winners of First Place Topicals and Transdermals in the 2018 THC Championship and they also won First Place Topicals in the 2019 High Times Cannabis Cup. The Massage and Bath Oils are formulated using the same essential oils and scents from the bath bombs except each bottle of contains 100mg of both CBD and THC, making them a more potent version for point pain relief and relaxation. Likewise, you can add them to your bath water for a whole body experience like the bath bombs. Nothing unknots your neck and shoulders like having these oils massaged into your skin; you can virtually feel your stress fall away. My personal favorite is the Calm scent which contains lavender, sweet marjoram, and cedarwood. Feel a stress headache coming on? Rub a little on your neck and temples and in no time flat those muscles will relax. Just got back from a rough day on the slopes? Really crank the relief up a notch and toss some oils or a bath bomb in the jacuzzi with you and relieve all those aches and pains.

What if those aches and pains are more serious, say from the spill you took while hanging up the Griswold family light display? Maybe step up your pain relief game with Escape Artists topical Relief Cream. This is a non-psychoactive, fast-acting pain relief cream containing 500mg CBD isolate and 25mg THC distillate. They come in a lavender or unscented variety. From a personal perspective, I really love this topical. It’s not greasy, smells great, requires only a small dollop, and works great for pain relief. Several months ago I partially tore my PCL in my right knee–the only way I could bear walking my large, energetic dog was with the help of the Relief Cream. I re-injured myself a couple months after that when my friends and I went backpacking, and with such a potent topical to help me out I was back on my feet and walking relatively pain free in days. And now that the weather has taken a turn for the colder, the old knee is acting up again, so once again I dug out my jar of the lavender scented one and slapped it on their for quick relief. Because of Escape Artists use of pharmaceutical technology to create superior bio-availability, the cream takes effect in 10 minutes or less and works for hours, and it penetrates deeply to aid with deep muscle tissue discomfort. The Escape Artists are the hottest gift under the tree around the holidays in our household. My mother receives several Relief Cream containers each year for Christmas and her birthday to help mitigate the arthritis in her hands. My little sister is a triathlete and my brother a competitive Brazilian Jujitsu fighter, so they both get some of the cream for Christmas, too. If the anecdotal evidence from my family isn’t enough for you, know also that High Times awarded Escape Artists’ topicals 2nd Place in the 2019 Colorado Cannabis Cup. These guys make an awesome product.

So if the holidays are putting the hurt on you, try out our Escape Artist and Coda topicals–all 25% off the entire month of December–come in and snag yourself some relief or get something to fill someone special’s stocking this year. And don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for the next blog post this month containing some of my favorite infused holiday recipes!
