Over the last few months we’ve been sprucing up Elements Boulder! One upside to the Covid-19 pandemic is that we were able to do some renovations during our brief closure. We got a new paint job inside, and you will hardly recognize the budroom. It received a new paint job with a splash of color highlights in the shelving. We replaced the old counters with lowered glass shelving so products and most importantly flower are more easily visible to the customer. We still hand weigh all our buds right in front of our customers. We added a bright green mailbox by the roadside and some newly branded signs, and we will soon have an all new light-up sign for out front to improve our visibility. And what with the pandemic still looming, we have begun selling our own Elements’ branded face masks. I have to wear one all day everyday at work, and these masks are far more comfortable than any of the others I’ve worn so far. I’m not the most fashion-conscious person, but I think they’re a pretty spiffy black number with our logo printed to the side, and soft ear loops that don’t chafe and don’t slip off.

Our cartridges and edibles all now are on our tiered pricing system, where the more you buy the larger the percentage you save. Tuesdays changed to Topical Tuesday when all the topicals are 25% off if you buy two or more. Thursdays switched to Fat Eighth Thursday, so you get 4 grams of flower for the price of an eighth. And now Sundays are our concentrate discount day, where all of our concentrates drop to the lowest tier pricing or receive a large discount for those not on our tiered pricing scale.

But that’s not all that’s new with us! Besides our newest budtending additions, Brie and Robbie, we also have a new receptionist, Regina. Otherwise it’s the same old faces in a newly revamped setting. On top of that, we have brought on all kinds of new product lines for our customers to enjoy. They include Chaos Crispies rice crispie treats, Koala Krunches, 710 Labs solventless concentrates, West Edison concentrates, O.Pen Reserve and Craft Reserve 1000 milligram cartridges and 300 milligram disposable vaporizers, WahDank dipped ice cream bars and ice cream sandwiches, The Flower Collective’s Bubble Hash and Live Rosin, and a whole host of Mary’s Medicinals oils, topicals, and transdermals. Additionally, one of our top shelf growers, Veritas Fine Cannabis, has started selling small nugs of their premium flower at a price where we can sell premium quality buds of slightly smaller size on our daily special strains. And I ain’t just a’woofin: in the last two weeks we have had six different strains of Veritas mini buds that all tested in the 25-30% THC range for our $20 daily special eighths. Come in and snag an eighth–I promise, you won’t be disappointed with the quality or the price!

And there’s one last new program we have now. Our connoisseur growers, In The Flow Boutique Cannabis, have partnered with us here at Elements to bring Covid-19 Relief Eighths of their Buddha Tahoe Alien strain to healthcare workers and those who are currently unemployed due to the disease outbreak. We simply ask that you bring some sign of proof that you either work in healthcare or have lost your job, just to make sure those who deserve it most can get some high quality bud for a pittance. The eighths are only $5 pre-tax, limit one per week. In The Flow’s owners wanted to give back to the community in their own special way. So if you know someone who has been laid off and could use a break or someone working in the healthcare field in any capacity who needs to unwind and release some of the pressure from work, send them our way. We would love to provide any little relief we can for those in our society on whom the plague has taken the heaviest toll. The folks at In The Flow have always been philanthropic, but I think they outdid themselves this time. I know for a fact that if it were legal to do so in Boulder, they would be giving them out gratis.

So swing on through the newly redone Elements and check out all our new goodies and deals. We are back to our normal hours, and as an essential industry we don’t plan to close anytime soon. We simply ask that you wear a mask when you come in to shop, in accordance with Boulder County Law. If we all do our part and wear our masks in the meantime, we can flatten out the curve of infection rates and get back to some kind of new normal. Until then we thank you for respecting our safety and that of your fellow customers. Just know that we are committed to provide a happy and healthy place to shop. We all wear PPE, abide by all state guidelines regarding Covid-19 and social distancing, and everything in the store gets sanitized once per hour. And we of course can take online and over-the-phone orders as well for those who wish to limit their exposure as much as possible. We thank and appreciate you all for understanding. So far all of our customers have been absolutely fantastic about maintaining social distancing and wear protective gear, and we most certainly appreciate it! Everybody stay safe out there, from the Elements Family to yours!
